Feeling a bit better this morning. Felt up to showering and was able to get the dished done. Am I full of energy, not even close! The right side of my neck and jaw are painful; feels like a swollen lymph node type of pain. The longer I am upright, the pain increases. Advil is keeping the pain somewhat controlled.
I am feeling better enough to work out today. I am hoping for a fairly quite weekend. Saturday will be busy as usual, soccer, grocery shopping, therapy; Sunday should be a little better. There is a gathering of our shul @ a congregant's farm to celebrate Sukkot. It'll all depend on how I, and the rest of the family feel. Helen also has a cold, so we'll see. I need to make sure that we are feeling well enough to attend Simtach Torah on the night of the 20th. At this time, both Kat and I will be called to read from the Torah! I guess it would be considered our Bat Mitzvahs.
I know the twins are very excited for Simtach Torah! They love the music and the dancing. I am looking forward to seeing how I fare with the dancing this year. There are 7 very enthusiastic/active dances, then the Torah is unrolled. They children sit in the middle of the room with the Torah completely unrolled around them; it is a very cool experience.
I am noticing that I am feeling colder lately. No, its not the change in weather ;) I find I am getting chilled easier. The kids and the wife to be are always telling me how warm I am, but I get chilled to the bone. I am thinking this is a good sign, my body is loosing fat/insulation.

Well, the pain increased to the point that I went to the doctor last night. My doctor thinks that it is a combination of TMJ and a swollen lymph node. The orders, Advil...check, heat...check, rest....check. So I am home resting, taking Advil like it is candy, and using the trusty heating pad.
I feel bad, I have been putting in some walking (usually just the walking the dogs and the some walking I do up and down the stairs). I am missing working out. I am feeling like a slug. My weight is hanging out around 247 lbs so I am glad that I'm not actually gaining at this time.
So back to the couch I go, heating pad on, feet up, and working on a sweater for Abby that will actually fit her (barring that she doesn't grow again before I finish it).
